The Sarah Palin Files, Pt. 41

Sarah Palin discussing Roe v. Wade and "all" of the other US Supreme Court jurisprudence she's familiar with ::sounds of crickets::, here (sorry, I cannot seem to get the video to work).

No surprise, Andrew Sullivan says it best:

Compared with Biden, it's brutal. Compared with any random person off the street, it's merely excruciating.

Palin's deer-in-the-headlights moment, where she seemed to channel MTV's Butt-Head for a couple of seconds ("uh...... huh, huh, huh.... What the hell is she talking about, Beavis?") when forced to identify another Supreme Court case she disagreed with other than Roe v. Wade, was laughable. But her earnest bullshitting afterwards was even more ridiculous. And totally transparent.

Everyone knows that she is to the right of Pope Benedict XVI on abortion. So to invoke "states rights," with its checkered past , to dance around her radical abortion views was silly, and didn't fool anyone, I suspect.
