Rappers and Obama

Apparently, Obama's run for president has hip hop artists penning lyrics every bit as politically charged as the Dead Kennedys. Er, not really, but kinda.

Anyway, article here.

Money quote:

Other artists, from Talib Kweli and Lupe Fiasco to Ghostface Killah and Kidz in the Hall, have mentioned Obama in song, possibly making him the third most-popular topic in rap behind drugs and sex, not necessarily in that order. (McCain, on the other hand, barely rates.)

Of course, because Obama is black, and these rappers are black, anything they say will be picked up by Faux News and they will then demand that Obama apologize for it.

And if McCain wants to hang out at a biker rally with a topless beauty pageant and Kid Rock, well, that's just good old fashioned America!!!

I hate the media. Except this blog.
